UI/UX Design

UX fest is a student-run UX competition at California Polytechnic State University.
This project was done in 32 hours as part of the competition, working with three other student UX Designers.

UX Fest Prompt

Your challenge is to create a mobile/web prototype that aims to promote campus safety, health or well-being on University campuses

Brain Storming

To narrow down our idea, we decided to focus on improving campus well-being. We started off listing different things that can affect a studentā€™s well-being and ideating how an app can help with a studentā€™s problem.

Problem Statement

With the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is harder than ever for students to socialize and find their safe community on campus.

Features

After looking at our competitors, we took the ideas from our brainstorming to come up with features that will help with the well-being and community building on campus.

Task Flow

We then expanded on those features to layout the app flow. From here we started the wire frame sketches.
